I, personally, haven't had any problems with Spartan. Yes, it seems decent to run a check to confirm access to run other checks, but still. I am currently Journeyman, and am NOT willing to test it. I don't have any ideas for mods. I have downloaded and tried OptiFine and shaders, which didn't work. I also tried Tinker's Construct (dosn't do anything) and Universal Pixelmon (just the gui) mods, which have their yielded responses/outcomes. So... yeah.
